The Regulayer™ Receipt
Prove what AI did and what the human reviewed.
What it does
The Regulayer™ Receipt creates a signed, independently verifiable record of AI use, human review and the decision made by the signer. The underlying work stays out of the record.
It records what AI was used for, what the reviewer checked, who signed it and when.
Anyone receiving the Receipt can run the same check independently. Verification confirms the record is signed and unchanged.
The work itself is never in the record. That is what lets you send the Receipt to a client or an auditor without handing over the work.
What it covers
In practice
File a document
A filing is drafted with AI and checked by a named reviewer. The Receipt records what AI was used for, what was checked and who signed, and anyone receiving it can confirm it is signed and unchanged.
Why it matters
A verifiable record that the review happened.
How it works
Three steps. Keep the underlying work on your computer.
- Fill the form. Which AI tools were used, for what tasks, what you personally verified, and who signs. The story is yours to tell; the receipt records your answers exactly, and never judges them.
- Get the receipt. If the record is altered later, verification shows the change.
- Anyone verifies, free. No account, no server, no copy of your work. The check runs in their own browser.
Change one character
Seal a record. Then alter one character.
Somebody changes the evidence after it was signed.
- What is being attempted. Passing off an altered record as the original signed one.
- What authority applies. The signature made when the reviewer sealed it.
- What Regulayer™ does. Refuses the record the instant one byte no longer matches.
- Without control. The altered record travels on, and the change is invisible to whoever receives it.
- With Regulayer™. Verification failed. The record no longer matches the signature. It cannot be passed off as the original signed record.
Where it lives
On your machine, twice.
The record downloads to your computer like any file.
Your work never reaches our servers.
Best practice: keep it beside the matter file and send it with the work.
Questions people ask
Who certifies?
You do. The attestation is yours. Regulayer™ records the attestation and binds it to the record so that a later alteration can be detected and the record can be independently checked.
Does Regulayer™ read my document?
No. Regulayer™ records the evidence needed for the Receipt without sending your underlying work to Regulayer™.
Does it work with my AI tool?
Regulayer™ works independently of the AI provider. It does not depend on a particular model vendor to create or verify the Receipt, so the evidence is not tied to one AI system. Because it records what you state rather than what the tool does, it is not built around any single tool.
Who is it for?
Anyone who delivers AI-assisted work under a disclosure clause or a court order, and wants the answer to “what did you use and what did you check” to already exist.
