What the statute requires, section by section

Washington My Health My Data Act (MHMDA), RCW Chapter 19.373 (2023 c 191). Provisions addressed:

RCW 19.373.030: Consent to collect consumer health data for a specified purpose; a separate and distinct consent is required to share it.
RCW 19.373.050: Data security practices: restrict access and establish, implement and maintain administrative, technical and physical data security practices satisfying a reasonable standard of care.
RCW 19.373.070: Valid authorization to sell consumer health data (signed, with defined content); a copy is provided to the consumer.
RCW 19.373.040: Consumer rights, requests, refusal and appeal.
RCW 19.373.020: Consumer health data privacy policy (organisational). Effective 31 March 2024 (small businesses 30 June 2024).
